When the Sun Sets

Mother Nature teaches us a lot through its cycle of different seasons, months, weekdays, and days and nights. One has the pleasure of ‘spring season’ where the entire flora and fauna turns to its full glory and bloom, everywhere there is so much freshness and vigor.

Not every season displays the same characteristics, they have their uniqueness, like summer brings mother Earth to its boiling point, the weather is so humid, especially in the Indian sub-continent, and this makes the environment so conducive for the Monsoon to arrive, and heavy downpour ensures that temperatures are down and soothing, the entire surrounding turns green and is just serene.

Then comes autumn, and to me, it is the saddest season, as there are hardly any leaves left on trees. And winter is slowly and gradually creeping in, and when it arrives, the climate is so chilling and harsh in some areas, that it becomes difficult even to breathe.

Similarly, like every other season, every month brings different festivals, events, and occasions to celebrate and ponder. And mind you, every moment, every event, that one experiences, has a purpose, and it correlates with the other.

The moral of the story is, life is not monotonous, it is not the same every other day, it is a roller coaster ride of different events or eventualities with different emotions involved, and Mother Nature is the biggest example of all. There is a lesson to learn from this story, there are so many natural calamities, and disasters, which keep on happening, but life moves on, those five elements of this mother earth, i.e., water, soil, air, fire, and space are within each of us, and hence we are no different.

Whenever we feel down and dusted, we should remember this, we can also make a comeback if we have failed in the test of life, we can also do wonders; we can also succeed after failures, and like the willpower of Mother Nature, our will power will make sure that one day success will be ours. Just remember those five elements, which are within us.

You need to remember the strength of water, how it penetrates deep inside the soil or rock and gives life, a form of its own.

You need to remember the strength of fire, it helps us to cook food and helps keep our homes warm, you can mould even the hardest of metals through the fire, and no one doubts the might of fire.

You need to remember the strength of soil, and how it helps to grow the flora and fauna, with the help of other essential elements of Mother Nature.

You need to remember the strength of air, a certain balance of air pressure is required for this life to sustain on this planet Earth. Air is essential for us to breathe oxygen.

You need to remember the strength of space, which helps the entire solar system to form a certain design for it to function around the sun, every planet has its magnetic value, which decides the weight of all the shapes and sizes of all living and non-living creatures existing on that particular planet.

These five elements are within you; just think of the power you possess.

So just remember one thing, after every day, the night will happen, but that is not all, like any other day, the night is also temporary, there will be dawn, and the sun will rise again and shine to the fullest.
