A Mysterious Key

Once upon a time, there was a boy named Chintu who played cricket with his friends every evening at sunset. Chintu was a clever kid. One Sunday morning, while they were on the cricket ground, the ball flew far away from them and into a nearby forest. Eager to continue their game, Chintu and his friends ventured into the forest in search of the ball.

While deep in the woods, a snake suddenly approached Chintu. Frightened, Chintu screamed, drawing the attention of his friends. A man from their group quickly took action, picking up a rock and throwing it at the snake. As the snake slithered away, the group was met with silence, their breaths held in suspense.

As they regained their composure, Chintu noticed a shiny golden key lying behind a tree. Intrigued, they also found an old, worn paper in a tree branch. To their astonishment, it was a map, indicating a trail leading to a mysterious cave. The group deduced it was a treasure map and decided to follow its path.

Their journey first led them to the ocean, where they used boats to travel to a location marked on the map. They arrived at an island but found nothing of interest. As they looked around, Chintu spotted another island, dominated by towering volcanoes. Venturing there, they found themselves in a dense forest. The map guided them to go deeper until they reached a massive rock.

Chintu, drawing from his clever nature, suggested, “I think we should push this rock.” Following his lead, they all pushed the rock aside, revealing a large hole. Sliding down, they discovered a locked cave entrance. When they used the golden key, the door opened, revealing an oval-shaped structure and a heavy stick.

Confused by the odd artifacts, Chintu examined the stick and found a space shaped like a keyhole. Inserting the key, the stick transformed into a wand. With a burst of light, it directed a beam towards the structure, creating a portal. Stepping through, they found themselves in a world where everything was made of chocolate. While they revelled in the candy-covered landscape, they soon longed for home.

Chintu, thinking quickly, shook the wand, and a beam shot out, forming another portal. This time, they emerged in a lush world filled with vibrant trees, flowers, fruits, and various animals. They were mesmerized by its beauty but still yearned for their own world.

Chintu shook the wand once more, and another portal appeared. While some were hesitant, fearing another unfamiliar world, Chintu assured them, “This will take us home.” Trusting him, they stepped through the portal and found themselves back in their own world, relieved and grateful for their adventurous journey.

But in their mind, all of them were wondering only one thing — how was Chintu so sure?
